At Landson we control and monitor the quality of your product throughout the entire production process
The production process is closely monitored by our production manager Gergerly (standing) and our four team leaders János, Emil, Zsuzsanna and Daniel
At the first quality gate Desirée measures the newly extruded segments and approves them when they are within the required specifications. She also monitors the drying process in the microwave and programs the robot with the automatic saw
At the second quality gate, before sintering, Larissa performs an integrity test on all segments. 100% of our segments are tested in this aerosol test, to ensure the high filtration efficiency of the final product
Nicolaj (to the right), our Engineer and Project Manager, is responsible for all product drawings and for the design of new equipment. While Carsten, our Engineering supervisor, is supervising maintenance of all production machinery, like the furnaces.
At the third quality gate, after the segments have been sintered and oxidized, Iulia performs a mercury intrusion test to control the porosity and pore size of the segments. This ensures the correct filtration efficiency as well as the permeability. She also measures the material strength for each batch, making sure we deliver the durability our products are known for.
Fourth quality gate is back pressure analysis of our filters. Alex measures them on our SuperFlow Flowbench. Having the right back pressure is essential for the fuel consumption in a diesel application.
At the end of the process, team leader János and his team perform the final inspection of all filters, they fill out the Certificate of Compliance and pack the filters for safe transport
Yilin, our R&D Process Engineer, uses different methods to analyze and document the findings of our efforts to improve and develop our products
